Marketing Architects, Inc. (“MAI”) respects your privacy and recognizes your right to transparency and security regarding any personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information we receive via our website, marketingarchitects.com (the “Website”), and through various other interactions with you. It also explains how California residents may exercise their rights pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA”).

Information MAI May Collect

MAI collects any personal information that you voluntarily submit to MAI in connection with inquiries about our advertising services through the “Contact Us” page on the Website, when you sign up for our weekly insights by clicking the “Sign Up” button on the Website, and/or personal information we gather about you in the process of marketing our advertising services to you from initial research through in-person meetings seeking your business, as well as personal information we collect in the process of providing advertising services to your company. This personal information includes information such as your name, email address, company name, job title, address, and phone number; information about your educational, professional, and employment background; and other information you may provide about yourself via telephone calls, texts, email communications, meetings, and/or other forms of communication with you. We also collect personal information that you provide to us at conferences, events, and trade or industry shows sponsored by, hosted by, or attended by MAI employees or representatives, or that you provide to the organizers or sponsors of conferences, events, and/or trade or industry shows sponsored by, hosted by, or attended by MAI employees or representatives. Personal information can also include information about you that is publicly available such as from LinkedIn, Google, your company’s website, press releases about you or your company, news articles about you or your company, and publicly available information that we acquire from other sources such as company data providers. We also collect personal information via referral. If you contact us in connection with an inquiry about a job listed on the “Careers” page on the Website, we collect the personal information provided in connection with that inquiry.

MAI collects personal information through automated means when you visit the Website. MAI uses cookies, small text files that are left behind on your computer to track you when you visit the Website, and web beacons, small electronic files also known as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs, on the Website and in our emails. Personal information collected through these automated means is gathered and stored in log files and may include data available from your web browser such as IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exiting pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data. If we send you an email, these automated means may be able to tell us if you opened that email.

What MAI Does With The Information It Collects

MAI may retain and use your personal information for several purposes, including addressing your inquiries made via the Website or other means such as telephone calls, texts or emails; marketing our advertising services to you; conducting general marketing and market research; and providing our advertising services. We may use your personal information to communicate with you about our advertising services through emails, texts, blogs, newsletters, white papers, and/or articles. How MAI Shares Information

MAI does not sell or share your personal information. We do not disclose your personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy or as instructed to do so by you.

We may disclose personal information to service providers who are performing services on our behalf when that personal information is necessary for them to perform their services for us and/or for your company. We may provide personal information to service providers that perform creative and production services for your company; provide IT services including service providers that host and maintain the Website; provide email services; provide marketing assistance; and perform event production, coordination, and management. We may also provide service providers involved in accounting, finance, insurance, and legal services with your personal information. Service providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to perform the services for which they were engaged.

Security Of Your Information

MAI uses administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps and use best practices to secure your personal information, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

Personal Information Collected By Our Clients

MAI creates television commercials and other advertising content as well as purchasing media and providing analytics and conversion solutions. MAI collects and analyzes personal information as directed by our clients and in accordance with our advertising services agreements. Our advertising services agreements prohibit us from using personal information collected by our clients except as necessary to provide and improve our advertising services. We do not control the types of personal information that our clients choose to collect or how our clients use that personal information. Personal information collected by our clients is used, disclosed, and protected by them according to their privacy policies and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

California residents have the right to receive certain disclosures regarding the collection, use and sharing of Personal Information, as well as rights to know/access, delete, and limit sharing of Personal Information. California residents have the right to receive notice of the categories of Personal Information we collect, and the purposes for which those categories of Personal Information will be used. The categories we use to describe Personal Information are those provided by the CCPA. If a category of information is not included that is because we do not collect it.

We may collect your name, phone number, email address, contact address, education, employment, employment history, online identifier, and Internet Protocol address. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you or in connection with an employment application.

We may collect your Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with the Website. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you.

We may collect Geolocation Data. As described above, we collect your IP address automatically when you use the Website. We may be able to determine your general location based on the IP address.

We may collect audio, electronic, or similar information by recording a phone call or meeting. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you.

We may collect professional or employment-related information. We use this information to market and/or provide our advertising services to you or in connection with an employment application.

We may share any of the above-listed information with Service Providers, which are companies that we engage for business purposes to conduct activities on our behalf. Service Providers are restricted from using Personal Information for any purpose that is not related to our engagement. We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collect it, such as to provide you with the service you have requested, and for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting, contractual, or reporting requirements that apply to us.

California residents have the right to request that MAI disclose to them the categories of their Personal Information that we collect, use, disclose, and sell. Our collection, use, disclosure, and sale of Personal Information is described in this Privacy Policy.

Right To Opt Out Of Sale Of Personal Information To Third Parties

California residents have the right to request that MAI not sell their Personal Information to third parties or share Personal Information with third parties. MAI does not sell Personal Information to third parties or share Personal Information with third parties.

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

California residents have the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. MAI does not collect Sensitive Personal Information.

Right To Information Regarding Participation In Data Sharing For Financial Incentives

California residents have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising their rights under the CCPA. MAI does not discriminate based on an exercise of rights under the CCPA.

Right To Access And Request Deletion Of Information

California residents have the right to request that MAI provide them access to the categories of Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell, and the right to request that MAI delete that Personal Information.
