WeatherBug Launches a Growth-Driven National TV campaign

Top-rated weather app and site WeatherBug has provided quality hyperlocal weather data to its users since 1993. As the only weather app with 19 free map layers, WeatherBug wanted to remind consumers of the importance of choosing an app they can rely on for precise weather information.

WeatherBug partnered with All-Inclusive TV agency Marketing Architects to develop and launch a national TV campaign. The spot highlights WeatherBug’s map layers, lightning alerts, and commuter-focused capabilities while reminding viewers WeatherBug will keep them “prepared for the unpredictable.”

The weather app and website looks to grow its active monthly users and drive new app downloads through the campaign.

“We are committed to providing live weather features and content that help WeatherBug users make informed decisions about their outdoor and travel-related activities.,” said Alan George, Director of Growth Operations at WeatherBug. “Highlighting WeatherBug features through our national TV campaign will help extend the awareness for the overall value it can provide users.”

“WeatherBug has an incredible product,” explained Dhiren Khemlani, VP Client Growth at Marketing Architects. “TV provides the reach needed to share that product with a wider audience. We can’t wait to see where this campaign takes them next.”
