Christopher Crowhurst

Technology

Christopher has a British accent. So pretty much anything he says sounds smart. But fortunately for Marketing Architects, his genius goes much further than being able to make the side of a cereal box sound like Shakespeare.

At the age 14, when most kids were writing on bathroom walls, Christopher was writing code for a medical company. After earning his degree from the University of Bristol, Christopher earned half-dozen patents as founder of OBF Laboratories. There, his company pioneered medical diagnostic techniques that led to improvements in the diagnosis of many of the world’s leading causes of blindness. Then Christopher sold his company.

Whew, time for a break right? Wrong.

Over the next decade at Thomson Reuters, Christopher was responsible for the global operations of the company’s internal IT function. He led teams supporting the regional operations across 44 countries and 300+ premises. In 2009, he was recognized by InfoWorld as one of the top 25 U.S. CTOs.

But Christopher longed for his days as an entrepreneur, and jumped at the opportunity to join Marketing Architects to lead all things technology. From IT to telecom to web, if it involves 1s and 0s, it involves Christopher.

When not rocking the world of technology, Christopher can be seen rolling in his kayak, where he’s fast becoming a thought leader in the sport with his very own web video series.
